Mission
The team acknowledges the great effect of being homeless and because of this, our mission is to present the tiny house to the city of San Jose and ultimately give the tiny house to an individual who is less fortunate.
Tiny House Project
We are students at Downtown College Prep Alum Rock High school, a non-profit in the Applied Engineering classroom. At the beginning of the year, we were presented with the opportunity to join a year-long project, and it was at this time when a group of 6 students came together to begging the construction of a tiny house. The tiny house will have the basic necessitates of a kitchen, sleeping room, and integrated furniture while following the strict building codes in the Santa Clara County. At the end of the project, we plan to present the tiny house to the city of San Jose and ultimately give the tiny house to someone who is less fortunate. We are looking forward to completing the project and in the end helping someone in need.
